My name is Doreen Wiegleb and I am the founder of the Family Nest. Like many other families, I had a "problem" at night for a long time: no room in the bed, but two children who needed to be close. According to recent studies, over 70% of all children sleep temporarily or permanently in their parents' bed. Shortly after the birth of my first son, I had the idea of a pull-out double bed. What is special about it? This kind of bed does not exist yet. You can extend the bed by another 80 cm on each side. The additional slatted frames and mattresses are integrated into the side panels. The family nest can therefore be flexibly expanded when the additional sleeping area is needed and if not, everything is also quickly stowed away again and no additional space, as with XXL bed frames, is wasted. The beds are made of solid wood, real wood veneer or decorative panel.
